Baby Nygaard has a name!

Well, I have been told a few times over the past weeks that I should start a blog to keep everyone updated on our life and the baby. So--here we are! Hopefully I'll keep updating regularly and you can all enjoy at your leisure! I'm sure you'll check daily-LOL!

I am now about 33 weeks pregnant. Things have been going really well. She's a mover and kicks me a lot, usually when I'm trying to relax-but that's OK--it's nice to know she's doing well. I had an ultrsound at 32 weeks and she was 4 lbs, 15 ounces--in the 75th precentile--YIKES! She's going to be a pretty good sized baby. All the books say that babies gain about a 1/2 pound per week, so that puts her at almost 9 pounds when she's born! I guess my high blood pressure is kind of a blessing, since my doctor said she will probably induce me at 39 weeks to ensure I don't end up with pre-e at the end. So maybe she'll only end up being about 8 1/2 pounds!

I should also update you all on our search for the perfect name for our little girl. We think we've finally decided on a first name--Hadlee. I know there are a few of you (who shall remain nameless) that don't like our choice. Well, that's just too darn bad--we get to name her! :) Her middle name is still undecided, we have about 4 options on our plate right now, and I'll keep you updated!

I am off of work now until January 5th--hopefully I can get lots accomplished over the next week. I'd like to get all the laundry done for the baby and get the house cleaned. That should be lots of fun!

I suppose, I better get to work. Hopefully as this blog progresses, I'll get better and the blog will get prettier. Feel free to leave any comments for me about things you want to know or comments in general.
